Primary 7 pupils were invited to take part in the BBC School Report this year.  Glaitness was the only Primary School out of over 200 other schools throughout the UK.  You can watch the video by clicking below:

The Primary 7 pupils have put together their first video newsreel under the banner of TV Glaitness. The aim of the project is to produce a news bulletin every month in order for parents to view the latest school news about events that have taken place as well as forthcoming activities - (a video version of the newsletter).

Although the finished product is important, the process involved requires a whole variety of different skills as well as the need to work as a team. The class is divided into reporters, script editors, presenters, interviewers, cameramen, technicians and movie editors, according to their interests and skills.
