February 2007 Newscast
The Primary 7 pupils have put together their first video newsreel under the banner of TV Glaitness. The aim of the project is to produce a news bulletin every month in order for parents to view the latest school news about events that have taken place as well as forthcoming activities – (a video version of the newsletter).
Although the finished product is important, the process involved requires a whole variety of different skills as well as the need to work as a team. The class is divided into reporters, script editors, presenters, interviewers, cameramen, technicians and movie editors, according to their interests and skills.
